Minister opens art exhibition
The Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage HE Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz al-Kuwari yesterday inaugurated a joint art exhibition of Art Wanson Gallery and Matthieu Arranz featuring a digital fine art "Out of Mind", at the Grand Hyatt.
The fine art exhibition, which will run until November 4, is a compendium of the best of the last creations by French artist Pal Sarkozy, father of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, along with the German artist Werner Hornung.
The art exhibition, which includes a portrait of the presidents wife, Carla Bruni, is the first to be featured by the French leader in the Gulf.
Also being featured in the exhibition is Art Wanson Gallery's latest cultural project entitled "Art Meets Matter", consisting of three parts, namely: the essence of glass, pigments and pixels and metallic force.
Being showcased alongside the Art Wanson Gallery project are works of other artists, including David and David, Amador Braojos, Gari, Remy J López and the Lebanese artists Gina Nahlé-Bauer and Wajih Nahlé.
Simultaneously, the gallery is also hosting the exclusive world premiere of the posthumous works of the great Galician sculptor, Juan Oliveira.
