Biography
Adèle Verge, Catalonian sculptress born in Séte in 1935.
Adele works with all earth which she reproduce not only in bronze or resin, but also wood, wax, plaster cast, stone, reinforced concrete, marble, ...
Sculpting at dusk, you would not think she is at retirement age, she followed the teachings of Pascale Aghilon for three years at the Fine Arts in Perpingnan.
All her sculptures have their natural origin in the huma a body shape.
According to her, each part of the human being is inexhaustible. It is possible to limit oneself to the reality with a figure of academics and, from here on, all areas can be explored. Volumes are simplified and they change, lines purify themselves, bodies that balance, and the shape tends to be the essence. Towards that a strong point that vibrates the light around the statue when one has the possibility producing to its glory..
