Art Wanson Gallery "Passion For Art"

The prestigious Art Wanson Gallery presents the ambitious artistic and cultural project "Passion For Art" in bringing together 6 exclusive international artists who represent the spirit of the gallery. An exhibition which gathers more than 100 exclusive and exceptional works of art.

Doha, the Qatari capital, has been chosen for the presentation of the show to be held in the halls of the Gran Hayatt Doha Hotel from December 4 2009 to 31 January 2010.

Subsequently, "Passion for Art" will tour several Arab and European countries such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jordan and Britain, among others.

The participating artists are:

Valentín Kovatchev, a renowned Spanish artist of Bulgarian origin, presents a selection of works in painting, drawing and graphic works, among which are the series and portraits of "Simeon II", "Mona Lisa", "Las Meninas", "Andromeda" and "The Thracian Horses" and the latest collection, made expressly for the occasion, entitled "Da Vinci, touched by the hawk. His creations, with a strong surrealist and metaphysical characteristic, offer renewed arguments and messages. His work has been honored in Bulgaria, Greece, Japan, Germany, Mexico, Italy and Spain. He is an Academic by the International Academy of Modern Art in Rome and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Seville.

Gari, a great sculptor, who represents the art of iron reused through excellent representations of animals in bronze, will show his wit through his work Taureamachine. Gari has a talent for his creations, which avoids the insignificant, rejects the ordinary, precludes the banal, addressing, joyfully, the world of sculpture by taming agility grates, screens, wires and metal plates of all kinds.

David & David, offers a sample of his original technique of painting on glass that recalls the best of the Murano. Celeste His work reveals a delicate acrylic on glass, collage and gold pigments in a contemporary line. A beautiful work and a pleasure for the senses.

Emmanuel Zurini, a prominent and globally known as Formula 1 photographer, captures his passion for speed in his cars on aluminum bronze sculptures through Alfetta, with which we are immersed in the spirit of racing. The artist can boast exceptional collectors as E. Ford, Jean Todd, Vuitton, Jacky Ickx and Albert II of Monaco, among other personalities.

Christian Sauvegrain, an expert on high aerospace technology and formed in high Swiss academic schools, has emboldened an original expression of the contemporary generation. He got a first prize in Miami, then he exhibited in Basel, Paris, then in Los Angeles, numerous times in Geneva, L´ll de Ré, Aixles-bains, Lille, Bahrain, Ferney Voltaire, Lucerne, Annecy, Lugano and Marbella.
Through an elaborate technology, he takes us through the universe of stars. In his technique he involves powdered metals such as iron, zinc, gold, platinum, meteorites and others. Unique and exceptional creations turned into art.

Amador Braojos, a great sculptor who lives outside the time, in his pursuit of ideal perfection, trying to touch the eternal, the devoted in every gesture, trying to make the infinite incarnate in the finite. Amador does not sculpt; he polishes and cleans, distorting the rocks, chasing the privacy in each stone, revealing unknown quality materials, stones that look more like a fable than real by their magnificence. If he used to carve pieces of jewelry, as his designs continue to succeed today, he sculpts the inner life, the very spirit in the crystallized form of pink quartz, hard irons that combine their effects, sometimes conflicting in moving figures, alive, quivering formidable weight and strength in front of us.
