William Claeyssens

Claeyssens was born in Uccle Brussels in 1960 but has lived in Spain since he was five years of age. He is fluent in English, French and Spanish.

Claeyssens studied at Ecos, Ecole Française de Malaga, Ecole Abbatiale de Maredsous (Belgium) and finally at the London School of data processing and computer programming. He worked for Genco a Swiss company in Riyadh Saudi Arabia at the King Saud University Project.

When he arrived back in Spain in 1984 he started a career with Weldinox. This company specialises in the design and manufacture of all kinds of stainless steel and brass products, specialising in Yacht design based in the Costa del Sol. Weldinox have also completed many major projects in Gibraltar, central Spain, France, UK and Angola.

William has actively participated in Moto-Cross the endurance race, car racing and sailing since he was young. His other interests are photography and more recently the restoration of classic cars, bikes and boats.

This iconic piece, affectionately named Lady M 535 is a Suzuki motorcycle boxer which is surrounded by a stylized chassis in the form of a womans torso. Lady M 535 was selected for the AMD world championship "Big Bike" exhibition in Essen.

At this time he has also developed a new generation of "Parafans" with the renowned Pierre Aubert where they introduced the first Inox chassis called Corsair which provides many technical improvements making it the most advanced Parafan at this time.

William is a member and involved with The Latina 2000 help group which is a humanitarian organization based on the Amazon River in Altanira and other charitable causes.
