José Carréra
Jose Carrera is a rare artist who shuns convention. The purpose of his sculpture is not recognition, but the existence of the piece
BIOGRAPHY
Born in 1942 of an Argentinean father and a Eurasian mother, Jose Carreras is an artist who has a bond with animal formations.
CARRERA has a background as a foundry worker specialising in bronze and his passion for the animal kingdom unites his ability to create spectacular figures. Somewhat of a recluse, many months were spent considering and contemplating his desire to bring these formations together.
His latest creations are that of a Tiger, Cheetah, Panther and a pair of Elephants called Good Boy & Good Girl which are a demonstration of his love of the wild.
CARRERAS is an artist who shuns convention; his work is a close thought process and love of the animals which finally bring these unique pieces of sculpture to the attention of the world.
