Scottish metal sculptor, David Marshall has lived in his adopted homeland of Southern Spain for over thirty years. Attracted by the wonderful light and climate of this region it is easy to see the appeal. Working from his studio in the mountain village of Benahavis near Marbella he takes his inspiration from the essence of the natural surroundings he lives in. Always inspired by the barks of the tree, rock formations, hills and countryside eroded by strong winds and rain.


After staging several successful sculpture exhibitions, David began designing objects for the home in brass and aluminium. The Bronze Age is his latest collection. Gifts for family, friends and corporate clients, the ideas are endless, with hand-crafted quality. David also continues to exhibit his original and limited edition sculptures in European and galleries in the USA.

Always seeking new challenges, David Marshall likes to combine other materials with metal. An inveterate traveller, who loves ancient cultures, he seeks out arts and crafts all around the world. Glass, wood and iron is incorporated with the brass and aluminium pieces all variations on the hand crafted theme that is so important to him. In this world of robotic production, how refreshing is it to find people, true to their craft still exist.
