Yorka Ruiz

York Ruiz was born in 1976 in the town of Barakaldo (Vizcaya), but few days later moved to the homeland of his parents, Puente Genil (Córdoba). Being here at age 9 he became interested in photography. His first camera was somewhat steep until age 12 took his first SLR, with the passage of time was improving and acquiring different models from the Olympus up to the present Canon.

Black and white a common working tool and high contrast with large granules, is the most widely represented in the retina of York influenced by the strong highlights and shadows of the Andalusian summer.

As photography a passion and a companion of solitude in his work of walking through life, dares to expose for the first time at age 28 in the city of Madrid with her debut "First Look to the Cultures of the World" from then has been published in a magazine and recognized in several competitions and exhibited in various theaters in Madrid.
