Felipe Carnotto Díaz

"After beeing born in Sao Paolo, his parents moved to Spain when he was 2 years old. At the age of 4 he one day got a present from his father- a camera. The little boy started to experiment.

When he was 16 years old he finished school and he decided to study arts in college. Two years later the young boy moved to Salamanca, a small city for students in Spain. It was here he started to work seriously for his big passion: The photography.

His first job as a photographer was in a newspaper of the university and for a small theatre-group.

After three years in the small city he decide to go to Milano to study , inspired by italian films from the neo-realism, especially the film 8 1/2.

His stay in Milan and the neo-realism cinema truly inspired him, and during his stay his photographic style changes. He start to take documentary photos in black and white.

After finishing his exchange-program he decide to spend the summer in Oslo. He start to work as an assistent for different photographers: Einar Aslaksen, MarianoG, Marco Villabrille.

He had exhibitions in different places, like Milan, Madrid, Vigo and Salamanca.

Now he is working on photo- projects with an norwegian journalist and is continuing his studies in audiovisual communication". Tone Roald
