Biography
The art of recycling of iron and its derivatives has attracted over one, but few have escaped the skilled handymans repertoire, which reduces their executions to simple and inventive mechanics. The eye enjoys itself and forgets immediately.
Gari was able to escape the trap of ingenious assembling. He avoids the unimportant, rejects the common, objects to the banal to tackle, joyful, the world of sculpture.

He knows that the third dimension is an open gateway to the imagination. Like the tamer, Gari traps his beasts from their bodies, volumes, of which he exploits the power of suggestion. The direction of the lines, which he articulates flexibly, always in the air, is instinctive. You can surround his sculptures, overhang them, and look at them below if you like: all lies, obvious.

It may be prudent to suspect originally an innate talent. It became a profession by dint of arms and head, a solid profession, wanted at all costs, and that makes currently believe ease when the lap is done. Gari tames the grids, grilles, wires and metalic plaques of all sorts. He assembles them in order that the light, this invisible partner, shows their differences. Mates or brilliant, these variations are the successes of the sculptor.
He never says that he has been afraid in the mouth of the lion.
Yet he had to tremble before instil in the forms the impulsion of idea, the vitality of intuition. How to succeed otherwise arise from surfaces arranged the laws of harmony and balance? Magic... Let yourself be driven, let yourself be deceived, enveloped, seduced by the charm of these graceful sculptures. Only in this way the bestiary moves. "You have seen my beautiful plumage" sings the rooster. "Question of beauty, I fear nobody" replies the lion. The dromedary is happy sticking out his tongue at them.
The menagerie of Gari is proud. They have a concept of panache, these animals! With this bit of humour without which the arrogance becomes weighing pride, Gari expresses their mimes, attitudes and frown of snouts.
Between lines it is instilled the philosophy of the sculptor who has forgotten to be naive. Parallel to treatment of the lines, she is expressed happily, natural collaborator of the sculpture. Why feel serious and sad? Ladies and Gentlemen, the big show of Gari is going to start.
