BIOGRAPHICAL DATA

1947
He was born in Totanes, Toledo (Spain)

He lived there until 1962, and during that time he had already shown his interest in art.
1962
He moved to Madrid and started working in jewellery.
He was taught by seven different masters of jewellers, sculptures and goldsmiths and worked with precious stones.
1967
He started his own workshop where he worked and investigated in the design of jewellery and precious stones, adding sculptural forms to these arts.
1968
He created a new jewelry collection with a very good concept in design and construction.
He had exhibitions in Paris and is considered to be the most original designer of the year in
1969
He continues working with jewelry and obtaining new techniques and creating small sculptures with his jewelery
He set up a group JADE (jewellers, artist and Spanish designers) with the purpose of submitting his new ideas in jewellery, goldsmithing and sculpture.
70/71/72
The group JADE exhibits in Madrid.
1973
He continues his work in jewellery and at the same time he studies more in depth the field of sculpture, combining the minerals in their original form with the precious metals.
He was awarded a medal by the Ministry of Information and Tourism in the Metal Art Fair in Valencia.
1974
He has made various exhibitions of jewellery and sculpture in several Spanish cities and works on several orders for private collections. At the same time, he began teaching the arts and handicrafts of metals, something that he continues doing today.
1976
He now devotes himself exclusively to sculpture and focuses his attention on this type of art. He creates new collection in silver and semiprecious minerals in their natural form.
1978
His sculptural work starts being exhibited and well known in most Spanish cities.
1979
His works are exhibited and well known in most cities in Europe.
1981
The Regional Office of the Federal District in Coyoacan, Mexico, invites him to exhibit his work in the Cultural Forum.
1982
He exhibits in Zurich, Switzerland.
1983
His works are known in the United Arab Emirates, Oman Sultanate, Bahrain and Quatar.
1984
He expands his market to the United States and creates different unique pieces to satisfy special orders.
1985
His is given the project of creating a monument that will become the new symbol of Marbella, "La Bella del Mar" (The Beauty of the Sea), a fountain to whose inauguration will assist the whole city.
1986
He exhibits his new work in the Hall Sant Jordi in Barcelona where they order him a new monument: "Sant Jordi y el dragón" (Saint Jordi and the dragon).
1987
He creates the collection of the zodiac introducing new techniques such as the cut of precious stones.
1988
He is invited to exhibit in Zurich (Switzerland) his new collection of sculptures, including the twelve zodiacs.
1989
He introduces a change in his new works with the search of the cutting of crude minerals.
1991
He expands his works to the Eastern countries.
1992
He joins the Group Design, a group of international artists that work in the branch of the design of metals and precious stones, and he participates, together with them, in an international exhibition of designers, Schmuck Europe 92, in Frankfurt.
93/94
Exhibitions in Asia, (Taiwan and Singapore).
95/96/97
He continues with his exhibitions in Hong Kong and the USA.
1998
He exhibits in Arizona, San Diego (USA).
He introduces his new collection in Albert Gallery (Pozuelo-Madrid), in Spain.
