A Beautiful Life
He was born in 1976 at Cholet which is in the province of ´Maine et Loire, France. His Father was a civil servant and his Mother a seamstress.
He has two Brothers and a Sister. He grew up in a family full of love and his parents always helped him with all his tasks and needs since a child right up untill he was nineteen years old. He played football and the drums were a favourite in the basement of their home. He purchased them himself from his own savings. His Father and Brother used to draw a lot, so he obviously decided to share that passion with them, those early years of his life he dedicated himself to football, drawing and music.

His Grandmother was a pianist, so he discovered the arts as well which put a new sense of tenderness into his life. The times he spent with his Grandmother were memorable and precious so he thought he knew his direction in life.
It was at the School of Fine Arts, where he discovered the mono type, pastel and lithographic prints, never forgetting original painting techniques. His teachers were so impressed with his style of work they gave him every encouragement to follow that path. A year later he was captivated by the animated films by Svankamyer and the Czech school of animation. He wanted to explore this area so for some time he worked within the animated film industry. Two films were made from this liaison, one made on a glass plate,
al endroit and one made with use of puppets. As a result of this and winning many prizes and honours in animated film making, he transferred the work to plate glass and record the work in an artistic format. Every summer he went to the Atlantic coast and sold his new style of works.

At this time he met a blacksmith called Thomas and they decided to make a joint venture with furniture and art so was born a combination of art and metal furniture. He has left behind a while his music period to the arts but will always bring that which he learnt to his soul.
He has met many people on his journey and more important not to forget those who have given him the inspiration and knowledge he so well deserves. His Grandmother, Thomas the Blacksmith metal worker, Caroline and also Laurent his teacher at the fine art school but has since sadly passed away. I must also thank Laurent and Caro along with Francois & Mercedes from The Art Wanson gallery for all there support.

2000 National Diploma in Fine Arts.
